Wondering which is best for you?
These are two of the most popular treadmills that Nordictrack makes. They both come from the popular “Commercial” series.
These are treadmills made with stronger motors, tougher decks and superior construction vs Nordictrack’s starter models.
They also come with some pretty cool perks as well – like full-color, touch-screen consoles and incline/decline options for better crosstraining.
Both the Nordictrack 1750 and 2450 also give you iFit Coach streaming workouts. So you can stream high-energy fitness classes to your treadmill – or run trails all over the world, from the temples of Thailand to the shores of the Amalfi Coast.
But what about when you compare them against each other? How are they different and which should you choose?
Here’s a rundown of the main differences between the Nordictrack 1750 vs 2450 treadmills to help you decide. (Note this is a comparison of the UK models).
Nordictrack 1750 vs 2450 – Price
While prices do tend to jump around a bit, as of this writing the Nordictrack 1750 treadmill is more attractive price-wise. You can get it for around £1799 with Free Shipping here.
The Nordictrack 2450 is the next model up with a few more premium features. However it’s not too much more, coming in about £1999 with Free Home Delivery here.
This is the main area where you see the biggest difference between these two treadmills. Both give you full-color, HD, touch-screen consoles.
The difference is in the size.
The Nordictrack 1750 treadmill console measures around 7 inches across as seen below:
The Nordictrack 2450 treadmill console is a bit bigger at 10 inches across as seen below:
So the larger console on the 2450 model makes it easier to read your workout stats. It can also make watching the iFit world trail workouts a little more enjoyable and fun.
Let’s look at another view. Here is the Nordictrack 1750 console:
And here’s the 2450 Console:
You may also notice in the pics above that, while both treadmills have a tablet holder, they are a bit different.
The tablet holder on the Nordictrack 2450 is a bit nicer and adjustable back and forward. The tablet holder on the Nordictrack 1750 is fixed.
Nordictrack 1750 vs 2450 – Motor
The Nordictrack 1750 treadmill gives you a 3.8 HP motor – which is excellent for this price point.
The Nordictrack 2450 treadmill however goes just a bit better with a slightly stronger 4.0 HP motor. So it can hold up a bit better under longer or intense workouts.
Still, this really isn’t a huge difference between motors and most people will probably be fine with the Nordictrack 1750 motor.
The Nordictrack 1750 gives you 44 built-in workouts whereas the Nordictrack 2450 gives you a bit more at 50 built-in workouts.
This isn’t really a huge difference – and since you can try iFit Coach for free with either machine, it may not matter to you (iFit gives you literally thousands of new video and streaming workouts to try).
Still, if you decide you don’t want to use iFit with your treadmill, this might be important to you.
So what’s the bottom line when comparing the Nordictrack 1750 vs 2450 treadmills?
They both give you some great features like strong construction, incline and decline as well as extra-long running decks.
The biggest difference is in the console – the Nordictrack 2450 gives you a larger 10-inch console vs the 7-inch console on the Nordictrack 1750.
This alone can make your workouts a bit more fun, especially when watching the iFit scenery.
You also get a better tablet holder on the 2450 model as well as a slightly stronger motor.
On the other hand, the Nordictrack 1750 comes in for the lower price. You still get the Free iFit membership, plus everything you need for a great running workout.
So it really comes to what you want.
