These are two of Nordictrack’s best-selling UK bike models right now.
They’re a more affordable alternative to the Peloton. Plus they give you a few features you don’t get with the Peloton – like world trail riding, free handweights included, incline and decline!
Both bikes come iFit Coach compatible. So you can stream high-energy cycling classes to your console.
You can also explore the world with guided biking trails – from the Swiss Alps to the Grand Canyon.
And with the incline-matching technology the bikes will also incline and decline to match the actual terrain of whatever trail you’re riding, for a more virtual-reality experience!
So how are they different? And which should you choose?
There are a few key differences between them that you should know.
Here’s a rundown of the main differences between the Nordictrack S10i vs S22i Studio Bikes (UK models) to help you decide:
Nordictrack S10i vs S22i Bike – Price
The Nordictrack S10i is a little more attractive price-wise. As of this writing, you canget it for around £1699 with Free Shipping here.
The Nordictrack S22i bike is the next model up with a few more perks. You can get it for around £1999 with Free Shipping here.
So what do you get for the extra money on the S22i? Let’s take a look.
Both bikes comes with full-color, HD, touch-screen consoles and you can stream cycling classes through them or take guided biking tours, which is amazing – and something you don’t find on many other cycling bikes.
However the real difference here is in the size of the console.
The Nordictrack S10 console screen measures 10-inches across as seen below:
The Nordictrack S22i console is much bigger – more than double the size. It measures about 22-inches across as seen below:
This is quite an upgrade. The massive screen on the S22i bike is a lot more fun to watch – and gives you a more immersive experience. It’s actually the largest screen the Nordictrack makes for their bikes right now.
Just to give you another perspective, here’s another view of the Nordictrack S10i:
And the Nordictrack S22i console:
Both consoles also give you auxiliary music ports on the side with console speakers. So you can plug in your phone or other device and play your workout mix through the speakers.
One minor difference you might notice is that the Nordictrack S10i bike gives you one-touch resistance and incline controls on either side of the console screen.
Due to the size of the screen, you don’t get this on the S22i model. However you can easily changed the incline and resistance levels from the handlebar controls.
The Nordictrack 22i bike has a bit more weight to it vs the S10 bike. This can help add stability, which is especially handy if you plan on working the bike extra-hard.
You also get a bit higher user weight capacity on the S22i bike: 350 vs 325 lbs.
Nordictrack S10i or S22i – Warranty
The Nordictrack S22i also has a longer warranty – including 10 years on the frame, which you don’t get with the S10i bike. So you have a little bit more coverage on your investment with the S22i bike.
So what’s the bottom line when comparing the Nordictrack S10i vs S22i Studio Cycles?
They both give you a more immersive training experience than a lot of other models – with world trail riding and streaming fitness classes.
Plus the incline and decline gives you more ways to crosstrain.
The Nordictrack S10i bike is more affordable. It still comes with iFit Coach, incline, decline and everything you need for a fun workout.
However the Nordictrack S22i Studio bike gives you a much larger console which can make workouts even more immersive and enjoyable.
Plus it has the longer warranty and is slightly more solid.
So it depends on what you’re looking for at the end of the day.
