Looking for a Peloton alternative in the UK?
The Peloton bike has taken the world by storm because when it came out a few years ago, it had something completely different – the chance to stream live cycling classes to your home.
So even if you can’t get to the gym, you can still take a high energy cycling class from home.
This was a game changer in the fitness industry.
The good news?
It’s no longer the only game in town.
Other, more experienced bike manufacturers have taken notice. And now they’re offering their own Peloton alternative bikes – some that give you even more features than the Peloton.
This post will examine 3 different Peloton alternative UK bikes that you can get – along with the benefits of each one. So let’s dive in:
Peloton Alternative UK – 3 Options
This is one of my favorite Peloton alternative bikes, mainly because it’s very similar to the Peloton in the screen size. They both carry a massive 22-inch, full-color touch-screen, which really immerses you in the workouts.
The Nordictrack S22i also has a streaming service call iFit Coach. You can choose from thousands of on-demand high-energy fitness classes – from beginner to experienced cyclist.
But you also get so much more.
With iFit Coach you can also ride famous world trails – from the Grand Canyon to the Swiss Alps. You can ride alone and watch the scenery pass you by in the console screen.
Or you can also take a guided tour with a coach, who motivates you – and points out interesting landmarks along the way.
You can also map out your own trails to ride using the Googlemaps feature (say if you want to bike through an old neighbourhood) – which is pretty cool.
Another thing you get with this bike that you don’t get with the Peloton?
Incline and decline!
So you get more crosstraining options with this bike. Plus, it will also incline or decline to match the actual terrain you’re riding in the iFit world trails – for a more virtual reality training experience.
You also get a free pair of 3 pound handweights included (you have to pay extra for them with the Peloton). So you can work some upper body training into your workouts.
iFit Coach – like the Peloton streaming service – is a monthly subscription-based service. However, if you use the link below to get the bike, you can currently get a Free 1-year membership to iFit. So that’s a fantastic savings.
Overall the Nordictrack S22i studio bike is one of the best Peloton alternatives on the UK market right now.
The Proform Smart Power 10.0 bike is Proform’s more affordable answer to the Peloton bike. It even looks similar with the red accents, molded handlebars and handweight basket behind the seat.
The main benefit?
It’s about £1000 less – making it much more affordable if you’re on a strict budget.
Like the Nordictrack bike above, the Proform bike uses iFit Coach to stream cycling classes to your bike. And you can also ride trails around the world or map out your own trails.
However the screen on this bike is not as large as the Nordictrack or the Peloton. It runs around 10 inches across. So it is a bit smaller and you don’t get as “immersive” an experience.
Also, the Proform 10.0 doesn’t have the incline or decline of the Nordictrack bike above.
But it still gives you a strong, solid bike with streaming workouts – plus a few more options like world trails – for half the price of the Peloton.
So if you’re on a strict budget, it’s a fantastic option.
If you don’t care too much about the classes – but want more of that “health club bike feel”, you might want to consider the Life Fitness IC4.
It’s built with solid steel construction and the off-set frame has a 155 mm Q-Factor for more of a true road bike feel.
The 1:10 Drivetrain Gear Ratio gives you a super-fast flywheel speed and the toe-caged, dual-sided pedals are ideal for avid cyclists.
You can easily adjust both the seat and handlebars horizontally and vertically to fit your body. And there’s a large, push emergency stop in front of the saddle.
The main downside of course is that, like a true group exercise bike, there’s no console on this model.
In order to get the true Peloton experience, you will have to pick up a tablet holder for this bike, attach your tablet and buy your own streaming package.
But at around £900 less than the Peloton bike this still is a much more affordable alternative. And if you’re more of a do-it-yourselfer, it’s a great option.
So those are 3 great Peloton alternative bikes you can currently get in the UK.
They each offer you some unique perks that you don’t get with the Peloton.
Plus they come from trusted names that have the experience you need when buying a studio bike that you plan to have for years to come!

Nordictrack S22i Bike – This gives you the same large screen as the Peloto. Plus, unlike the Peloton, you also get incline and decline as well as free handweights included. You also get 1 year of Free iFit Coach where you can stream classes plus ride world trails and even map out your own trails to ride.
Proform Smart Power 10 Bike – This gives you streaming classes and world trail riding with iFit Coach. The main drawback is that the screen is about half the size. However the bike is also around half the price of the Peloton.
Life Fitness IC4 Bike – This gives you more of a group cycling class feel. It’s solid and well constructed. While you will have to add a tablet holder and get your own streaming package, it’s great for do-it-yourselfers.
